Lamb Meatballs (Greek Inspired)

Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 25 minutes

These Greek inspired meatballs are a great way to get your entire family excited for dinner. Paired with the freshness of a cucumber and tomato salad, you're sure to have a party on your palate.


  • 1 Ib of ground lamb

  • 1/2 grated or finely minced onion

  • 2 tbsp of minced or squeezable garlic

  • 2 tbsp of squeezable basil

  • 1 tbsp of kosher salt

  • 1 tsp of black pepper

  • 2 tsps of Hungarian paprika

  • 2 tsps of ground cumin

  • 1/3 cup of finely ground breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 1 tbsp of balsamic vinaigrette

  • 3 tbsp of oil (For pan searing)


  1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees.

  2. In a large bowl, add all of your ingredients.

  3. Mix until everything is fully incorporated.

  4. Roll meat into 2 inch balls and refrigerate for 1 hour (This locks in the flavor).

  5. Heat up your oil in an oven safe skillet (preferably cast iron).

  6. Sear your meatballs for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until you have a dark brown crust.

  7. Place entire skillet in the oven for 15 minutes.

  8. Serve with cucumber salad.

  9. Enjoy.
